Welcome to the Film Club page! Film Club is an afternoon club that I run after school on a Wednesday. It is a club where children of any age can come and relax and watch a film. The children love to lounge out on their bean bags, eating their popcorn and experiencing films that they may not have seen. However, the purpose of Film Club isn’t just the above. It is designed to improve children’s literacy skills also. The children are asked to discuss the film that they have watched and are encouraged to use reflection and critical thinking. The school has selected a team of reviewers whose weekly job it is to review the film and post it live onto the Love Film website (who supply us with films) for the whole world to see. Very exciting!

"Filmclub is where you can watch a film (it will be a recommended film from a filmclub reviewer) and you can get some fruit, a drink of orange or blackcurrant and some popcorn or a biscut. If you are a reviewer you can rate the films on at filmclub and write a review". Aidan
