As a result of our high commitment to ICT, internet safety is an integral part of the embedded ICT structure within the school.

All pupils in Key Stage 2 have been allocated with a laptop for use in school and at home. Before any child is allowed to take home a school laptop the child and their parents must attend a meeting which promotes safe use of the laptop (including internet safety).

Messages from the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) site are promoted to help pupils understand how to remain safe when using the internet for further information please visit the CEOP website at:

At Castledyke, we know that it is of the utmost importance to ensure that all children have a secure understanding of eSafety principles. If you or your child have any concerns then you can use the CEOP button on this page to seek advice and support.

Here are some handy tips for helping you to keep your children safe whilst they are using the internet. We hope that you find it useful. If you have any questions regarding how to keep your children safe on the internet, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Honess.
